EVH Eddie Van Halen Wolfgang Neck Guitar Pickup (022-2139-001)

It took over 80 prototypes in the development process before Eddie approved these humbucking pickups for the EVH Wolfgang guitar. They are balanced and able to deliver balls-out overdrive and sustain without sacrificing the ability to clean up magnificently and articulate the cleanest passages when the volume is rolled down.

As a replacement pickup they rule because they sound great in all woods, from mahogany and alder to basswood and beyond!

The EVH Wolfgang Bridge Pickup gives you classic Eddie Van Halen guitar tone, instantly. Eddie forged his unmistakable sound through incessant tinkering with guitar parts and pickups. EVH now gives you a direct replacement for all standard humbucking pickups, the Wolfgang Bridge humbucker, that lets you nail Eddie's classic lead tone: stinging, singing highs, snarling mids, fat brown sound and all.

EVH Wolfgang Pickups are available for both the Bridge and Neck positions, and in Black, Chrome, and the original Black/White. (Six different Wolfgang pickups, in total). Include mounting hardware and wiring diagram.
