This D-20E is Guild's take on a mahogany-bodied dreadnought that has become legendary over the years. The dreadnought body shape is already known for being the go-to acoustic guitar style for a warm, hugely resonant tone, and a mahogany neck, top, and back and sides further the tonal profile into something akin to a grand piano. The warm brown color of the mahogany is indicative of the tone the guitar resonates, a perfect contrast to the typical spruce-topped configuration that usual acoustic guitars are known for.
This Electric version features a gorgeous-sounding LR Baggs Element preamp, which allows you to get that gorgeous multi-dimensional musicality through a PA, amp, or recording interface.

Details
The D-20, is a dreadnought acoustic guitar built with solid mahogany top, back, and sides. First introduced to the Guild line in 1968, this model features a rosewood bridge and fingerboard, bone nut and saddle, and an extremely light satin finish that allows this guitar to truly sing. The D-20’s modest appointments include a vintage style rosette and Guild’s peak logo inlaid in mother-of-pearl on the headstock. Each D-20 comes with a hand-signed, numbered certificate of authenticity, and ships with a hardshell case.
