The Ibanez GRG250DX Electric has been created in the image of the original RG. In 1987, Ibanez unveiled the RG Series, and a legend was born. It quickly became the weapon of choice for hard rock and metal players worldwide and recognized as the ultimate metal machine.
The iconic body style is carved from mahogany, and is outfitted with a metal approved 3 pickup H-S-H electronics schematic: a format that Ibanez helped make into an industry standard. The humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions boast high-output ceramic magnets while the mid pickup is a more traditional single coil with Alnico magnets. The Ibanez GRG250DX s 5 way pickup selector allows for infinite tonal possibilities in tandem with a simplified 2 knob volume-tone control system.
The maple neck on the Ibanez GRG250DX Electric Guitar is adorned with a rosewood fingerboard, pearloid shark tooth inlays and 24 jumbo frets on an ultra-flat 15.74 radius which allows for maximum velocity soloing and effortless string bending. This metal machine is also equipped with an Edge III tremolo system which will keep its tuning through even the most aggressive shredding and dive-bomb solos.
