We're stoked to present this amazing Ninja X8 from Legator! This new axe features an absolutely astonishing California Buckeye Burl top finished in Royal Purple. 

How the California Buckeye Burl top looks is truly hard to describe... it's simply something that must be seen to believed, and the way the purple was incorporated into it subtly is genius. The contrast of the awesome-feeling wenge/maple neck and richlite fretboard along with the unique forearm carve and the reversed, matching headstock adds to the visual distinction of the whole package.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that Legator's extended range axes feel pretty natural to move over to from a more conventional 6-string instrument. Legator did a great job with the neck profile, frets & and fretboard radius for a very intuitive experience.

Make no mistake, this guitar is a metal machine through and through. High-gain riffage and sharp crystal cleans are both present in spades on this axe thanks to the acoustic clarity and attack of the swamp ash body, wenge & maple neck, and richlite fretboard combined with the renowned Fishman Fluence Modern 8-string humbuckers, which have become known for their extreme clarity under heavy distortion. They retain string definition and high-end punch along with a tight low-end boom all the way down to the lowest open note. The guitar is also equipped with a push-pull pot that switches between two distinct voicings for the pickups, further increasing their versatility. Rounding out the electronics is a killswitch on tap for those unique sounds. 

Finally, the venerable Evertune 8 bridge, which has become popular among guitarists in heavier genres for its ability to keep the guitar in perfect tune without fail making the guitar the ideal platform for aggressive playing, allows you to focus only on what's important: kicking ass.
