This guitar marries the pure Martin classic tone with modern features that make jamming, playing out and gigging as a working-class musician very convenient. Right off the bat, the price point is very accessible for a Martin of this quality, especially one that features the all-important Sitka spruce top as a solid tonal foundation. The neck has a satin finish that makes going up and down the neck a breeze, which helps a lot with those fast chord changes. Beyond that, other contemporary features include a soft cutaway make lead playing very easy and improve the guitar's versatility as well as a genuine Fishman pickup system that includes an incredibly convenient built-in tuner. The acoustic players here at the shop hate having to carry a tuner around and this one makes that a no-brainer.

With a gorgeous glossed Sitka spruce top and ziricote back and sides, this solid wood Grand Performance cutaway model is a great sounding guitar at an affordable price. New to this model are stunning mother-of-pearl pattern fingerboard and rosette inlays, a multi-stripe rosette border, and white binding. It has an FSC® Certified Richlite® fingerboard and bridge, gloss body, and a hand-rubbed neck finish. Also new to this model is a Fishman® MX-T electronics package with a built-in soundhole tuner that auto mutes the audio output so you can tune up any time without using a pedal.
