Check out this awesome new Mayones Aquila Elite S! This is an double-humbucker version of the Aquila that Mayones released in 2020. They've also done away with the pickguard to help show off more of that gorgeous 4A quilt maple top. 

The build quality is every bit what we've come to expect from Mayones - masterful from top to bottom. The fretwork is incredible, and the recessed Gotoh 510 tremolo allows for freakishly low action and a smooth response. The wenge neck feels silky-smooth, and the ebony fretboard adds some nice brightness to the acoustic voice of the guitar. The neck is super-fast to maneuver on, but is also not paper-thin. It has a bit of a more traditional C-shaped neck than many of Mayones' shred-oriented builds.

There's finally a Mayones offering for guitarists that prefer a tone that harkens back to yesteryear. That said, this is definitely not your father's S-style guitar - it's even better. If you want to get dirty with it, it can do that. If you want to clean it up, it'll handle that as well.
