The Demonic Machine

The Demonic Machine can be more accurately described as a “fuzz unit” than as a pedal. It’s meant as a stand-alone device, a sole demonic source of doom for your signal. Each Demonic Machine is hand-wired and hand-painted and has more customization options than any human can feasibly experience in a lifetime.

A dual-voiced muff-style circuit with a three-band EQ lies at the heart of this machine: a high-gain circuit based on Fran Blanche’s NYC Reissue Big Muff π and a lower-gain setting using our signature 1N3666 germanium diodes. This, along with a blendable octave-up fuzz, can create earth-shaking and bone-shattering sounds. With a boost circuit based around a MOSFET and a 12AX7 vacuum tube, you’ll have no problem cutting through the mix.

The Demonic Machine is designed for use with a 9VDC power supply. Using a non-isolated power supply can result in extra noise in the circuit. Current draw: 140mA.
