It's always a treat to get a beautiful USA-made ESP into the shop. Built in ESP's USA factory right here in California, these instruments are top-of-the-line instruments on par with their renowned, artisan-made Japanese Custom Shop guitars. Much like its 6-stringed M-series brethren, this beautiful M-7 HT (hardtail) in a clean Pearl White finish is a real shredder! The added 7th string is nice and tight with great clarity and punch.

This is an excellent way to get some of the best craftsmanship ESP has to offer in an American-made guitar that is absolutely shred-ready in every way. The USA ESP's are top notch and you can feel it right away when you pick this bad boy up. The fretwork is silky smooth, the action is freakishly low, and all the notes ring out and sing with seemingly infinit sustain.

This one's loaded with EMG's 81-7X & 85-7X active pickups, which take the iconic 81 & 85 set that has come to define modern metal to the next level - the new X preamp gives these pickups even more juice, power, and clarity. This guitar cuts through a dense mix like a hot knife through butter, and just sounds absolutely unbelievable through gain, staying tight and dynamic regardless of how much distortion you throw at it.

Crafted at our ESP USA facility in Southern California, the USA M-7 Hardtail is an amazingly high-quality solution for everyone who wants the power and precision of a hardtail bridge in a 7-string guitar. The USA M-7 Hardtail offers an extra thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck with natural satin finish for the smoothest and fastest playing experience. Optional premier-quality figured-wood tops are available on the USA M-7 Hardtail including flamed maple, quilted maple, lacewood, zebrawood, and koa, with a variety of amazing translucent gloss and satin finishes to choose from, as well as both maple and ebony fingerboards with offset abalone dot inlays, and a killer reverse headstock.

The parts and components on the USA M-7 Hardtail are second to none, and include 24 extra-jumbo Jescar stainless steel frets, a Hipshot fixed hardtail bridge, a bone nut, Sperzel Trimlok tuners, a Dunlop strap locks, and your choice of Seymour Duncan Custom/Jazz or EMG 81-7XH/85-7XH pickup sets, with a push-pull coil split control on the tone knob for passive pickup models. The USA M-7 Hardtail includes a high-quality ESP USA form-fitting hard shell case.
