If we had to pick only one word to describe this guitar, there's no word that's both entirely accurate and an absolute understatement than "resonant". Right out of the case, the first chords we played on it rang out like the Liberty Bell and you could feel the entire top, back, and neck vibrate in unison. For players out there who really want to feel their instrument, we can't overstate how well this guitar will pair with you, and we can only imagine how nicely it will settle in after a few weeks of honest playing time and road-testing. The playability of this guitar is exceptional, as is the tone. The acoustic voice is full-bodied with a terrifically round low-end, brilliant midrange and smooth crispy highs.

This F-55 is an outstanding player that will dominate any stage or recording studio. This rosewood Antique Sunburst model was recently discontinued, so give it a spin while you can!

The jumbo bodied F-55 (formerly F-50R) produces an extraordinary amount of volume and warmth, matching a tight grained solid Sitka spruce top with solid Indian rosewood back and sides for extraordinary separation and clarity. Its strong, focused bass response, sweet, singing mids, and crisp highs give it a distinctive voice that sets this guitar apart from all others.

Elegant cosmetic appointments include the classic Guild “V-block” inlays, gold Gotoh hardware, and a beautiful Nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Exceptional build quality and premium specifications make it a worthy heir to the historic Guild jumbo legacy.
