As premier Mayones dealers, we're excited to bring you this incredible custom-ordered Regius 7 in a gorgeous Trans Dirty Purple Gloss with distinct purple pearloid binding & the amazing True Temperament Fretting System!

The idea behind this model is to suit Mayones' tradition of aggressive tone while keeping one foot in the more traditional visual and tonal spectrum.  While this guitar is clearly still geared towards metal and "djent" players, the body shape is softer than other Mayones styles and evokes a certain retro vibe for an overall more understated look. While this guitar is still going to be a contemporary head-turner - I mean, just look at it! It's gorgeous! - the angles on the body, the beautifully-executed purple pearloid binding, and the arched top will feel more familiar to players accustomed to more traditional axes of old. 

Of note on this axe is the implementation of the True Temperament frets. When tuned to pitch correctly, this groundbreaking system ensures absolutely perfect intonation from the first fret all the way up to the 24th, on every string. We're very excited to have this incredibly innovative set of frets on a Mayones as beautiful and killer as this.

The 7-string neck feels absolutely amazing, regardless of whether you're mainly a 6-string player or call extended range axes your weapon of choice. We truly think Mayones managed to pull that off - the custom-wound, Mayones-exclusive Bare Knuckle TKO pickup set, while designed for high-gain chug, surprised the players here at the shop with their awesome clarity on cleaner settings, especially with the coil-split on the volume control. Of course, the TKOs excelled the most at distorted riffage, and we were very pleased with how both single notes and chords sounded huge without getting muddy, especially on the lower strings - they absolutely nailed the combination of scale length, neck profile and pickup voicings to keep the guitar feeling and sounding both tight and effortless to play.
