The Super Creamer is a blend between the 20W Creamer and elements of a 1961 Fender Super. The preamp and power amp come from the Creamer, including the deep spring reverb circuit. The form factor and tremolo come from the Super: a 2x10” speaker setup, and harmonic tremolo.
The result is a unique amplifier that has never been made before, with harmonic tremolo and reverb in a lightweight, low-power setup that's perfect for the modern player.
With 6V6s, the Super Creamer puts out about 20 watts into 8 ohms and has a sweet breakup. Put a pair of 6L6s in and you get a bit more low end, subtler mids, and a touch more headroom.
The tremolo circuit in the Super Creamer is unique and sounds outstanding. It is harmonically rich, deep, and has a very useful range of speed.
The Celestion G10 Greenback was developed to recapture the legendary sound of Celestion’s 1970s 10s – a 10” speaker with a surprisingly meaty tone. Low in output but with the weighty low-end balance of a 12-inch speaker, the G10 Greenback features a complex mid-range and smooth vintage top-end. In small combos this speaker adds real class, and when combined in a 2x10” or 4x10” configuration, gives rise to a raunchy full-bodied tone rich in low-end thump.
Like all Milkman amplifiers, the Super Creamer is built using the finest possible components onto a turret board and is hand-wired with cloth covered wire.
