Post Audio ARF-68 Vocal Booth & Reflection Filter

Post Audio's newest design is a light weight full sized reflection filter. By making the ARF-68's shell and mounting system almost entirely of ABS and aluminum, they've been able to produce a full sized filter that's very light, very effective and really inexpensive.

The ARF-68 vocal booth will knock out most of the reflections that make up the "sound" of your room and leave you with a clean, dry track that doesn't have the telltale sound of your garage or bedroom all over it.

 In addition, it blocks some of the noises that are always present while you're recording from sneaking into your microphone, your computer's fan for instance.

 The ARF-68 is 18"x12"x6" with specially designed 1" acoustic foam. To accommodate a variety of microphones, it adjusts vertically by 5" and mounts on any ordinary mic stand, no special stand is needed.

Post Audio Heavy Duty Compact Straight Tripod Base Microphone Stand

This stand was developed by Post Audio to be a heavy duty and reliable base for holding our ARF reflection filters, as shown in the photos. The AS-2 stand is constructed like a mini speaker stand, made of heavy-wall 1 1/8" tubing with braced adjustable tripod base and pin-locked height adjustment.

It turns out to be handy for all kinds of things, including mounting near field studio monitors, lighting systems and as a solid base for extending mic booms far out over the drums, for instance. The stand has standard 5/8" mic thread at the top, but the larger barrel below the threads gives great support for anything you care to put on it. The tripod base has a diameter of about 20" and the stand extends up to the usual mic stand height of just under 5'.

The Post Audio Reflection filters are fairly light but some other kinds, like the SE filters, are really top-heavy and will wobble or fall over and have even been known to break the top right off their mic stands. This AS-2 stand is the solution to that and numerous other problems, such as mounting personal monitor systems, portable PA speakers, sequencers, drum machines, lighting and laptops.
