This Schecter C-1 FR-S Silver Mountain is an engine for the most brutal of riffs, and looks incredible to boot! The combination of the wild black & silver paint job and satin black hardware screams 'metal machine', and picking up the guitar confirms those suspicions. The combination of mahogany and ebony provides a warm yet aggressively focused tone, which you can feel immediately when you strum a chord. The lightning-fast satin neck is both velvet-smooth while being not too thin. The versatile controls pair well with the awesome Schecter USA bridge humbucker and Sustainiac neck to cover a wide variety of heavy styles. We particularly love how the guitar stayed tight under the heaviest of gain. Schecter is killing the mid-price point!
