It features a dual-cutaway mahogany body with a maple top and a set mahogany neck. The comfortable neck is thick with a fat profile that adds tons of sustain and a familiar feel.

Yamaha choose some great-sounding electronics for this guitar that center around a pair of Yamaha VH7+ Alnico pickups humbuckers. Wired to a master volume and a master tone with a push/pull dry switch to bypass the tone circuit setting, these pickups are powerful and versatile. 

Satin nickel hardware is used throughout including die-cast Yamaha tuners, control knobs, wraparound Tonepros bridge, and the antique pickup covers on the humbuckers. The Revstar RSP20CR ships with a nice hardshell case.
