Loaded with player-oriented features and iconic striped style, the Wolfgang® Special Striped B/W is a highly-responsive instrument, born to crank out some serious rock.

This high-performance axe features an arched top basswood body with a robust graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck, carved and rolled to Eddie Van Halen’s exacting specifications and with a hand-rubbed urethane back finish. Experience ultra-high-speed playability from its 12”-16” compound radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays, and make quick and easy truss rod adjustments (even between songs) thanks to the conveniently located heel-mounted spoke wheel. A pair of flagship custom designed EVH® Wolfgang Humbucking alnico 2 pickups are mounted directly to the body, providing dynamic yet articulate voicing, as well as near-endless sustain for powerful chords and melody lines. The low-friction volume knob lets you perform speedy violin-like volume swells with ease while the tone knob resists easy turning—avoiding unwanted tonal shifts as your picking hand flies furiously across the strings. A sturdy and dependable EVH-branded Floyd Rose® locking trem and Floyd Rose locking nut work in tandem for precise tuning even with extreme changes in pitch, while the EVH D-Tuna® retunes to drop-D and back with strict accuracy at the flick of a finger.

Spotlight ready in White with Eddie’s signature Black stripes, this huge-sounding Wolfgang Special also comes with chrome hardware, a three-position toggle switch, black speed knobs and EVH-branded tuners.
