The Ruiner is what happens when you combine two Dark Boosts together. You’d think that it’d create a really dark sound. Instead, the one boost circuit overdrives the second into a highly compressed (to the point of squishiness) fuzz sound that is great with large resonating bass lines as well as (strangely) old school 70′s funk fuzz guitar. Your low fundamental frequency will be humming out of the amp just as steady as can be, and on top will be a BUZZ SAW OF DISTORTION!
It's also a great way to make you bass say the names of shitty beers. "BLATZ." "SCHLITZ." you might have to do a pick slide for Schlitz.
