Martin's Custom Shop department consists of some of their top luthiers and is a place where all of your acoustic guitar dreams can come true. The sky is the limit for what they can create. For this Martin Custom Shop guitar, we wanted to go with instruments that were aesthetically beautiful to look at but also were functionally and sonically exceptional. In this case, we took a traditional 000-28 and outfitted it with hand-selected deeply quilted maple back and sides along with a sitka spruce top. To make it stand out a bit more we also selected Martin's Trans-Black Sunburst finish that makes the entire guitar really pop.
