Mayones Duvell DT 7 B26.5" Baritone 7-String Guitar, Blackheart Fretboard, Monolith Light Blue Metallic Matt
Player's Perspective
This unique Mayones Duvell DT 7 B26.5" in a bright, 80s shred-inspired Monolith Light Blue Metallic Matt finish is a pure weapon of tonal destruction. We've been proud to be Mayones dealers for several years now, and this guitar is a shining example as to why. The pure craftsmanship and attention to detail makes this axe feel like the finest European sports car.
The modern 16" radius blackheart fretboard and earthy-feeling Wenge neck plays lighting-fast up and down the neck and feels incredible in the hand, as with every Mayones instrument we have in. The bare wood-feeling neck back in particular is a truly unique playing experience, as your hands seemingly glide over it effortlessly, in addition to looking awesome.
The low-B is tight, punchy, and really brings the thunder. The extended scale length lets you easily downturn to an A without worrying about string wobble or ugly fret-slapping. Even if it's your first baritone or your first extended range guitar, the adjustment period is really minimal. Of course, the excellent design is propelled even further by the excellent craftsmanship on this one.
New for 2024, Mayones has introduced new proprietary Velvetrone pickups for their guitars alongside their venerable Velvetrone bass pickups. This Duvell features the phenomenal Ironside bridge & Solium neck 7-string set. The Ironside bridge pickup is ripping and aggressive with high output, focused midrange, and powerful highs and lows - just the way we like it! The Solium neck is smooth, warm, and rich, perfect for vocal-like lead tones and shimmering clean tones. Although we're still massive fans of the Bare Knuckle TKOs, these new pickups are just as incredible and dialed in perfectly.
For a one-of-a-kind axe with the looks, feel, and sound of a world-class instrument, this Mayones Duvell DT 7 B26.5" is a stellar choice!
Details
“When I visited NAMM 2014, I tried the prototype Duvell made for Misha, I fell in love right away. It was one of the most comfortable guitars I’ve ever played that sounded aggressive and tight, great for the music I play. Mayones craft amongst the best guitars on the market today. Very unique instruments that have been given a lot of love during their build!” – John Browne / Monuments
“If you’re looking for an ultra-high quality metal machine that doesn’t skimp out on anything related to playability and tone, then the Duvell is for you! They aren’t cheap, but no quality instrument is ever going to be cheap. Personally, I rarely order new guitars, but I placed an order for a Duvell Elite with a pale moon ebony fretboard after playing this guitar. That should say enough.” – Wired Guitarist
“The attention to detail that Mayones put into every single one of their instruments is very apparent – it radiates from the tip of my Duvell’s headstock all the way down to the input jack. You need to hold one in your hands to really appreciate this level of craftsmanship.” – Luke Hoskin / Protest The Hero.
