MXL Revelation Mini FET Large Diaphragm Condenser Recording Studio Microphone

The MXL REVELATION MINI FET is a compact, large diaphragm condenser microphone inspired by the legendary MXL REVELATION tube microphone. MXL set out to design a smaller, FET-based microphone that would carry the classic tone and sonic image of the REVELATION, while increasing durability and versatility for a variety of studio and live applications.

The REVELATION MINI FET utilizes a premium 32mm center terminating, gold-sputtered capsule combined with a low noise circuit to provide a classic sound for a range of uses. The FET-based circuit design offers a low noise and discreet signal path when paired with the 32mm capsule, allowing the REVELATION MINI to deliver the classic REVELATION sound at a lower price. The inclusion of a -10/-20db pad allows the mic to be used on a variety of sources including hard-hitting kick drums, blasting trumpets and everything in-between.

The V67N from MXL is a small-diaphragm """"pencil style"""" condenser microphone ideal for use with a variety of instruments. Whether you're using it on acoustic or electric guitar, percussion, or brass, the V67N provides a perfect amount of detail, clarity, and presence.

The mic has interchangeable capsules with omni and cardioid pickup patterns, giving you terrific options when choosing your mic setup. Internal Mogami wiring provides a high level of sonic integrity. The MXL DX-2® is the first dual capsule dynamic microphone that allows you to tailor the sound from one capsule to the other and all points in between, so that you can easily customize your sound. The front of the microphone is a flat-faced, side-address design which places the microphone capsules close to the sound for optimal pickup, while the opposite side has the crossfade knob, making adjustments a breeze. Capsule 1's super cardioid large capsule design captures the warmth and fullness of your instrument while Capsule 2's cardioid small capsule offers superb mid range and high end detail.
