PRS Dragon II treble pickup in nickel. This is one of the greatest pickups on the planet. Paul Reed Smith has always strived for excellence and relied heavily on the input of his customers. The Dragon II was designed because of complaints that the original Dragon pickups were too noisy. This modern high output humbucker is still considered by many to be the pinnacle of PRS tone. Even through gobs of distortion, this pickup retains all the clarity and articulation you need to riff through your carefully crafted solos. Lay down some chunky power chords and the low end will not let you down either. Though not quite as smooth on the surface as a PAF or the McCartys, the Dragon IIs clean up quite nicely with a roll of the knobs or the factory equipped coil tap. These fire breathing pups won't let you down no matter what direction you go.
