P.A.F.-voiced single-coil-sized humbucker. Great for country, jazz, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock.

Application
P.A.F.-voiced single-coil-sized humbucker. Great for country, jazz, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock.

Description
This little brute was designed to impart the warm, smooth tone of an old Patent Applied For humbucker in a direct replacement, single-coil size. It possesses an even, dynamic response, and its adjustable pole pieces allow the guitarist to fine tune the string balance and dial in just the right amount of punch. Compared to the JB Jr., it has less output and more upper-mids. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable. USA Patent No. Des. 355,207.(SSL-1) Hot Stack® (STK-S2) pickups, Cool Rails are for players who need a louder, punchier, and fatter single-coil sound. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable.

Complete setup
Available for both bridge and neck/middle positions; and in an incredibly versatile set with an SJBJ-1b JB Jr. in the bridge, an SDBR-1n Duckbuckers in the middle and an SL59-1n Little '59 in the neck.

Guitars
For all well-balanced instruments. Works equally well with maple and rosewood fingerboards.

Choose white, black, cream and parchment housing.

An Excellent Recommendation, Excellent Pickup Review by Lui

So I had been frustrated since I bought my 2015 Fender American Standard Stratocaster, since I can setup a guitar very well, I had to spend money and take it to the best techs in SD, because I had this incredibly annoying wobble on the lower strings... I tried everything , I read every forum and the pickups, (Custom Shop Fat 50's) sound great clean! Amazing fender tone but unfortunately it doesn't take my style of gain pedals very well... primeraly Fuzz and touch sensitive overdroves like a Tube Driver, Tube Screamer or Fet Driver... I could get away with a Big Muff and a Klon, but it still didn't sound as good as my Les Paul or my 200 dlls Ibanez... I came into the store and Mr. Eric Lucero suggested I try the Little 59 and the Duckbucker... I was skeptical about the Duckbucker because I have a SSL-5 on the Bridge and I was going to put the little 59 on the neck and those are very hot pickups... the duckbucker is not... so I got a hot rails... but I lost a considerable amount of top end sparkle and with the hot rails it sounded very similar from positions 5 all the way down to 2. So I went back and got the Duckbucker and I got back some twang and sparkle! Amazing combo! But the review here is for the Little 59' ... I have to say, wow... what an amazing Pickup. It kinda feels like my strat was converted into a 59 Les Paul, but it still has a lottle twang so it still sounds Straty a little bit... but oh my gog! Does it sound smooth and brutal now! Sounds perfect! Finally all the time and money I've put on that guitar has paid off... I feel like I have the best sounding strat in the world! Thanks Eric! (Posted on 5/23/2017)
