The Verellen Meatsmoke puts out 300 tube watts at 2, 4 or 8 ohms. It's loaded with six Tung Sol 6550 power tubes, overbuilt transformers and a fan to cool things off. There are two footswitchable channels. The clean channel can be dialed in for a tubey, clean bass sound or punchy grit, and the overdrive channel puts out low-end rich sustaining overdrive or all out fuzz. The folks at Verellen include a footswitch, because they're awesome like that. There is a no nonsense 3 band EQ, bass and treble shift switches and independent preamp volume and master volume controls for each channel.

The Meatsmoke is built with an attention to detail that is getting increasingly slim these days. Entirely hand-wired and assembled in Seattle, the construction of this head is as rock-solid and powerful as the sound. This is an amp that is built to be played and pushed night after night.
