The T146SM features a fully-hollow maple body and neck, which is an essential part of the formula for the bright, clear voice of a hollowbody, along with a spruce top - the very same wood traditionally used in high-end acoustic guitars for an authentic acoustic response. It also features a striking ebony fretboard for extra clarity and a smooth feel for chords and single notes. The "Traditional Even C" neck profile will feel very familiar if you've played this style of guitar before.

For electric playing, this guitar features a single Lollar Imperial humbucker in the neck position. The Imperial has become nearly a "standard" in the boutique guitar world as far as humbuckers go for a reason and are pretty much the perfect "PAF". They capture the quintessential clean tone you look for in a good humbucker - clear, bright, and warm along with highly dynamic and responsive to both the volume and tone knobs as well as your playing, all elements essential for classic jazz and blues.
