We're proud to bring you this beautiful American Performer Jazz Bass in a clean and classic Satin Surf Green finish! This one features a maple neck and fretboard along with a stealthy 3-ply black pickguard that adds some nice contrast to the neck and body. While keeping the vintage Jazz Bass sound and feel intact, this series, as the name implies, outfits the bass with pickups and features that make it more practical as a performer's bass - good, consistent Fender tone on every gig that also manages to be versatile and genre-spanning.

The Yosemite single-coils are a unique new Fender design that that's even more dynamic and expressive, with some nice thump, low-mid presence and focused clarity. Along with their guitar counterparts, we definitely think the Yosemite series is one of the best modern pickup series that Fender has concocted in the new era, and highly recommend taking them for a spin! This one also has a simple but supremely usable control set, the Greasebucket tone circuit allowing you to dial in your sound pretty well for a passive pickup setup.

The American Performer Jazz Bass includes the Yosemite single-coil pickups, designed for rich, expressive tones. With flat-staggered pole pieces to increase output and a shellac coating that lets the coil breathe while controlling feedback, Yosemite pickups produce dynamic sounds ideal for any musical situation. The American Performer Jazz Bass also features Greasebucket tone circuitry that lets you shape your highs without adding bass, preserving your sound. The “Modern C”-shaped neck sports a 9.5”-radius fingerboard that’s comfortable for almost any playing style, along with 20 medium-jumbo frets, allowing you to easily express yourself musically.
