We're stoked to welcome Fibenare Guitars to our family of high-end and boutique guitar builders on hand! Fibenare was founded by a family of skilled luthiers from Kecskemét, Hungary. In 1990, the Benedek brothers faced the difficulty of acquiring quality guitars that Hungary was experiencing at the time. As a result, they were encouraged by their father to take up building their own, and the rest is history. Every component designed and produced in-house, these guitars are seriously incredible and are right up there with anything coming out of American custom shops.

Check out this beautiful Basic Jazz. Mahogany body and neck, flame maple top, two humbuckers, a stoptail bridge, the familiar two-volume, two-tone control layout, and the unmistakable single-cutaway body shape... if you're discerning enough to be looking at a guitar of this level, chances are you know exactly what this one is about. And if you somehow don't... look up any legendary classic rock band from the 1960s-1980s and look at the guitar they're playing. This is Fibenare's refined, classy take on that style axe, and boy, did they knock this one out of the park. The construction is simply stellar, and the figuring on the woods from top to bottom is absolutely top-notch and is accented nicely by the classic-looking Tiger Burst finish.

This beautiful instrument isn't all looks, though - it plays and sounds fantastic as well. The neck profile is both familiar and a sheer joy to play on, and the fretwork is impeccable, as you'd expect from a handmade boutique builder of this caliber. The custom-designed Fibenare wraparound bridge is both beautifully minimalist and functional - the tuning stability and intonation are just excellent.

Pickup-wise, we have a set of Fibenare ALV63 humbuckers, individually calibrated for the neck and bridge. These pickups sound incredible. They have just the right level of output while maintaining a good amount of vintage clarity and top-end for the best blend of old and new.

The Fibenare Basic Jazz is a simply masterful take on the singlecut double-humbucker guitar design and needs to be tried to be believed!
