As proud G&L dealers, we're stoked to present you this awesome custom-order Legacy HH from their Fullerton factory in an awesome Sublime Green finish! The Legacy HH is a variant of G&L's evolved take on the original S-style guitar designed by Leo Fender himself, and this is definitely a piece that carries on the legacy of the instrument.

Here at the shop, we love guitars that are modern and practical with "quality of life" improvements that cater to the player, but retain the vintage tone we all love. This far-out Legacy HH features a supremely-stable 2-point tremolo, and two G&L humbuckers instead of the typical single-coil configuration. As you may have guessed, this one's a bit of a branching evolution off the typical S-type - this one is made to rock, and rock hard. The G&L humbuckers sounds awesome and usable in all three positions both clean and with distortion, and the voicing of the pickups pairs nicely with the 25.5" scale-length of the guitar to provide a bright and clear tone. There's also a nifty mini-toggle to split the humbucker for even more versatility.

ITEM SPECIFICS

The G&L Legacy HH is an excellent choice for players who need a twin-humbucker bolt-on guitar in their arsenal. This Legacy nails the target with a G&L AS4255 in the neck position and AW4470 at the bridge. Fact is, these guitars major in rock and minor in blues, and with the mini-toggle coil split, plenty of convincing single coil tones are on tap to expand the potential of this versatile axe.

The Legacy HH brings all of the Legacy features, starting with Leo’s PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) system which functions on all three pickups for dramatically more variety than the vintage setup. What’s more, the Legacy HH features a Leo Fender-designed Dual-Fulcrum vibrato, a work of engineering art which allows bending up or down with unsurpassed stability, while offering a silky feel through its beefy aluminum vibrato arm. The Legacy HH’s hard-rock maple neck features an easy-playing satin finish, comfortable 9 1/2″ radius and Jescar 57110 medium-jumbo nickel-silver frets for silky playability. The moment you open the luxurious hardshell case, you’ll be greeted with a stunning instrument and delicious aroma that’ll have your pulse racing.
