This American made S-500 features an alder body with a sonic blue finish. The maple neck is G&L's modern classic 'C' shape, and it features a maple fretboard with dot inlays and a 9.5" radius. Electronically, this guitar is decked out with three G&L MFD (Magnetic Field Design) S-500 Single Coil pickups. These pickups work tonal wonders. They have all of the high-end shimmer and clarity of good single coils, but they never sound thin. They're like single-coils with the midrange definition of humbuckers. There's also a 5-way switch and a mini toggle that allows you to use the neck and bridge or all three pickups at the same time. G&L's tuners, the bone nut and the G&L Dual Fulcrum vibrato bridge keep everything in tune no matter what. A great design at an unbeatable price.

- G&L Modern Classic Neck Shape - 1 11/16” nut width with 1 5/8” string spacing allows a generous edge roll for superb comfort without string fall-off. Fairly slim with mild taper from 0.820” at 1st fret to 0.870” at the 12th fret.
