This G&L USA SB-2T bass features a swamp ash body and natural gloss finish. The neck is maple, and it's carved to G&L's #8 bass neck shape, which is basically a modern narrow "C" shape. The matching maple fretboard has a 9.5" radius with black pearl dot inlays and a 1 1/2" nut width. Electronically, this bass features G&L Magnetic Field Design single coil in the bridge and Split Coil in the middle. A volume control for each pickup and a master tone knob provides super easy control over your sound. Other features include a G&L Saddle Lock bridge with chrome-plated brass saddles and custom G&L "Ultra-Lite" tuners. A great American-made bass with everything you need for all your gigs.

- 1 1/2″ Medium C Neck Shape - 1 ½” nut width traditional to a J bass, Leo brought it with him to Fender Avenue for the ASAT Bass and SB-2. 1 1/2” nut width, generous edge roll, and medium taper from 0.820” at 1st fret to 0.920” at 12th fret. These specs were part of the #6 and #8 necks.
