We're seeing a lot of companies releasing reissue versions of classic instruments these days, and Gretsch has been killing the game in their own right. With this one, you get an instrument that features the best of both vintage vibe and modern playability, refined tone, and construction techniques. It's got a neck that feels great to hold onto, and fit and finish on par with a modern boutique instrument. While looking like iconic Gretsch guitars of old, this guitar features some improvements on the traditional design.

Tonally, this axe features a pair of BroadTron humbuckers that rock a little bit harder than classic Filtertrons do, which is great for the modern player and pairs well with this guitar's solidbody, hardtail construction. This may be the Gretsch of choice for the players who want traditional Gretsch vibe but play on bigger stages at higher levels of gain.
