These Heritage guitars truly are the real deal! Their motto is "the world's finest American-made musical instruments" and we cannot find any reason to refute that at all. The company was started by guys that came over from Gibson's Custom Shop and they wanted to continue the tradition of handmade, high-quality instruments as the company moved towards more and more CNC machines and fewer handmade appointments. So they formed Heritage guitars and went back to using their hands to build finely-tuned and well-crafted guitars.

The build quality on this Standard Collection H-150 is definitely something to behold, especially for the price. The fretwork is excellent and clearly done with attention to detail. The Seymour Duncan '59 pickups are clean, clear, and vintage through and through - like any good "PAF"-style pickup, they have the warm clarity needed for blues, jazz, and country whilst having a nicely slightly-scooped midrange that sounds great into a roaring half-stack for rock.

Rest assured, these are no copy-cat instruments. In a lot of ways, they're one of the most authentic representations of what most people actually think of when they think of a guitar of this style. Versatile and ready for the studio or the stage, this is a guitar that will sound like a piece of rock n' roll history with playability and quality that will likely surpass even the most discerning and lofty expectations.

The Heritage Standard Collection H-150 is the quintessential solid body electric guitar for musicians who desire modern tone and precise build quality in an American-made instrument. Crafted in our factory at 225 Parsons Street, Kalamazoo, this guitar features a curly maple top and genuine mahogany back and neck, with a nitrocellulose gloss finish that allows this guitar to age beautifully. A rosewood fretboard and beautiful acrylic trapezoid inlays add visual appeal to an all-time classic. The H-150 is fitted with a pair of Seymour Duncan '59 humbuckers that are wax potted for minimal microphonic feedback. It produces a warm, thick tone with loads of sustain, making it a versatile and capable instrument for just about any music genre. Finer touches to this guitar include a Tune-o-matic bridge, custom CTS potentiometers, Elixir Optiweb strings and a premium carrying case.
