PLAYER'S PERSPECTIVE
As proud Heritage dealers, we're stoked to tell you that these Heritage guitars really are the real deal. Their motto is "the world's finest American-made musical instruments" and we cannot find any reason to refute that at all. The company was started by employees formerly of the custom shop at the "Big G" who wanted to continue the tradition of handmade, high-quality instruments from the olden days.
In that vein, this semi-hollow H-535 in a classic Trans Cherry finish is a versatile workhorse that features a solid center block and laminated figured maple construction. For fans of the traditional "ES" instrument, this guitar will obviously look very familiar to you. And we're excited to report this delivers on your expectation for that type of guitar, and then some!
A pair of Seymour Duncan '59 humbuckers deliver sweet, old-school tone at the bridge and a warm, full-bodied sound with great sustain at the neck. As the name implies, these are PAF-style humbuckers through and through, with a slight mid-scoop that help these pickups sound simply sublime on low to mid gain settings. And they're perfect in a semi-hollow. The semi-acoustic qualities of the body really come through with pickups that are this warm and clear!
The H-535 performs well in any setting, and is perfect for rock, blues and more. Touring musicians will more often than not find it to be the only guitar they'll ever need.
