Ibanez AE275 AE Acoustic Electric Guitar, Pau Ferro Fretboard, Dark Tide Blue Flat

Born from a long lineage and musical heritage, the acoustic guitar is steeped in tradition. But music continues to evolve, and musicians demand inspiring new tools with which to carve out their own signature sound. In that spirit, we introduce Ibanez AE, our flagship series of acousticelectric guitars, offer supreme tone and playability, and represent another great chapter in the acoustic guitar tradition.

Features

  • Comfort Grip Nyatoh neck with Rounded Fretboard Edge: The Comfort Grip Nyatoh Neck contour and round edges of the fingerboard provide superior playability.
  • Pau Ferro fretboard: Pau Ferro produces a wellbalanced tonal character from low to high end.
  • Jumbo frets: Jumbo frets contribute to smooth playability, especially for singlenote playing.
  • Solid Sitka Spruce top: Solid Sitka Spruce top provides an enormous frequency range that offers wave after wave of shimmering highs along with tight mids and a fullbodied low end.
  • Okoume back and sides: The Okoume back and sides generate a woody, warm tone when the guitar is played softly or fingerpicked and provide punchy highmids with a clear projection when strummed.
  • Ibanez AP11 Magnetic pickup: The AP11 pickup is small, lightweight and positioned so it won’t inhibit the natural vibrations of the top wood. The pickup generates a highly responsive sound with minimal feedback and delivers a lively response throughout the entire frequency range. The sound is transparent and reflects the guitar’s natural acoustic tone while preserving presence and midrange. The AP11 also works well with effects such as reverb, chorus and many others.
  • Ibanez Custom Electronics w/ Volume and Tone Control: The guitar also features onboard treble and bass controls for contouring the tone, making it suitable for a variety of applications for modern players.
  • Pau Ferro scalloped bridge: The lightweight, scalloped bridge improves vibration efficiency for better resonance, as well as providing more flexibility in adjusting the action than usual bridge.
  • Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins: These pins really are an advantage over oldfashioned pins. Advantage™ pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. A special bulbshaped end makes the pin easy to grip and also prevents the pin from being pushed in too far. Best of all, with Advantage™ the pin and string stay put.

Special Features

  • XM Bracing: After spending years of trialanderror, Ibanez realized the outofthebox XM Bracing to generate the ultimate sound standing out on the stage. The carefully designed scalloped Xbracing, the allocation of tone braces, and finger braces transmit the string vibration efficiently through the bridge to the body. The XM Bracing creates the clear bottom and crispy treble sound with trimmed warm midrange, yet provides a wide dynamic range and high response.
  • AE body shape: Designed for projection, balance, and comfort, the AE's perfectly crafted contemporary body shape offers the best of all worlds.
  • Comfort Grip w/Rounded Fingerboard Edge: In order to achieve supreme playability, the neck was specially designed with ThinC shape style comfort grip with fingerboard's rounded edge.
