The Aquila is Mayones' take on a design that harkens back to the early 80s while implementing the knowledge and experience they've attained over the years. This model easily achieves both classic tone and modern quality that Mayones has come to be known for.

The 12" radius ebony fretboard and buttery maple neck plays lighting-fast and feels incredible in the hand, as with every Mayones instrument we have in. The combination of Gotoh locking tuners and Hipshot hardtail bridge offers supreme tuning stability, and new for 2024, Mayones has introduced new proprietary Velvetrone pickups for their guitars alongside their venerable Velvetrone bass pickups. This Aquila features the phenomenal Ironside bridge & Solium neck set. The Ironside bridge pickup is ripping and aggressive with high output, focused midrange, and powerful highs and lows - just the way we like it! The Solium neck is smooth, warm, and rich, perfect for vocal-like lead tones and shimmering clean tones. Although we're still massive fans of the Bare Knuckle TKOs, these new pickups are just as incredible and dialed in perfectly.
