The Patriot Enlightened is the lightweight version of our Patriot. Created as part of the Enlightened Collection, this is the outcome of two years of development as we committed to developing an ultralight guitar without the normal compromises. The Patriot Enlightened weighs 6 pounds or less without the past drawbacks of a lightweight guitar. 

In creating the Enlightened collection, we carefully selected a new tone wood, red cedar. This member of the mahogany family delivers classic and full tonal performance but at a much lighter weight than typical tone woods. We reduced weight further by thinning out the body and adding ports to the butt-end of the body. To avoid neck-dive, which is common on lighter instruments, we developed a new combination for strap-button placement. The end result is a lightweight guitar that is well balanced, fun to play, and sounds great. 

The pickups on the Patriot Enlightened are based on the popular Rockfield® SWC pickups, but they have been voiced specifically for the Enlightened models, working perfectly with the new properties of the wood and construction of this guitar. We added our Great 8 Mod, allowing you to go from humbucker to single coil tone using the two provided push-pull pots.
