This Tagima Jet Blues Rocker is one of the coolest, off-the-beaten-path offset guitars we've had come through the shop. Handmade in Brazil as part of their venerable Brazil Series, this black beauty evokes some vibes of the classic "Master of Jazz"-style guitar with its 25.5"-inch scale length and offset shape, but brings a level of class all its own with its tasteful piano black gloss finish, ivory body binding, a striking white pearl pickguard, high-quality electronics, a simple but deceptively versatile control setup and a gorgeous headstock design.
The quality of this instrument is fantastic for the price point. Completely constructed with woods native to Brazil, this guitar sounds and plays fantastically. The Tagima Classicbuckers are very clear both clean and with overdrive, sitting at just the right amount of vintage-hot output to both shimmer and snarl. This guitar also features a handy multi-position Varitone switch, located conveniently next to the stopbar tailpiece, to bring a wide palette of sounds to the humbuckers. It's very similar to the complex tone circuits on other classic offset style guitars in its versatility.
If you're looking for something unique that both rocks hard and looks good doing it, this Brazilian piece of art is definitely one to check out!
